Painting
Painting Party: 2 hr Class
Students will be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to paint a lovely painting. Most newcomers feel that they can't paint well, and are a bit nervous about the outcome. Deborah puts everyone at ease and makes the process fun. Come paint a painting nice enough to hang on your wall. Deborah provides step-by-step instruction, and one-on-one guidance, to every student so that everyone leaves with a pretty painting.
Crafts
Bead Making: 2 hour class
Students will be delighted and surprised at all the colorful designs they can make with paper beads. This is a creative, fun, easy class. Crafters make paper beads from colorful paper, such as scrap paper and wrapping paper. Designers may use old mementos, such as a diploma or a birth certificate, which they want to transform into keepsake jewelry. After the bead is fashioned, a glossy coat is applied and the beads harden and become shiny, looking like ceramic beads. Students will choose paper, cut paper into the styles they want, roll the bead and apply the finish. They can create as many beads as they like. All supplies are provided.
